Il Gufo is born from the passion and the creativity of Giovanna Miletti, who in the year 1980 whilst her children went to the nursery, filled her time creating “pettorine” and coloured bibs working from glass-house tucked within the green hills of Asolo.
Thanks to a constant growth, from a small artisan reality, Il Gufo today has reached the structure of a functional, well organized company without losing the value of a large hand made production using the same care of the past, always maintaining the high quality of the product.
Every article derives from a careful research of the fabrics together with a refined process of experimentation that gives to the Il Gufo products a style unique and recognizable. Elegant and complete, the collections are dedicated to children from 0 to 14 years old and meet the requirements of a even more extended and demanding market.
In 2005 Il Gufo opened a new showroom, right in the heart of Milan, to receive customers from all over the world and the meetings of the most important reporters of the Italian press. Today, the brand is present in the best Italian and foreign boutiques and in recent years initiated the Il Gufo Retail project, opening mono brand shops in Torino, Treviso, Pordenone and Vicenza, which will soon be extended internationally.
